Hello there my name is Miranda and I am 28 years old. I have not always been overweight I was a skinny kid and I was small up untill I was 17 then I had a big weight gain, I am not sure why I had gained all the weight but I did I went up to about 190lbs. I stayed that size for a few years and slowly became bigger. I have been married for 10 years to my high school sweetheart. I had struggled with infertility for many of years, I am now a proud mother of three great boys. I have two 5 month old boys and a great 8 year old son. I have thought about rny for a couple of years my insurance was so easy to approve me i could not belive how easy it was. I went to my pcp on June 9th by June 21st I was approved, so im not waiting on my date. My insurance is contracted with UT southwestern in Dallas so I have to travel 5 hrs away to have surgery so im just waiting on my date. My current weight is 250lbs and im 5'6 I wear around a size 20 to a 22. I look forward to chating with other great people on this message board.
Since surgery I have lost around 70 lbs, and I am still trying to figure out my new stomach and how it all works, but I love my RNY!!!
