10/18/2006 A week out of surgery and I have dropped 13 lbs. Very exciting!!!
10/17/2006 I actually thought about WLS in 2004 but insurance and employer regulations got in the way. I was so close too, surgery date and everything but it did not happen. I finally tried again early 2006 since I changed jobs and chose Kaiser Permanente as my insurance. They have a great program to ensure readiness for this life changing event. Long process compared to other programs I've heard of but the wait was worth it. I was approved to the program March 2006 and had Lap-RNY surgery on Monday, October 9, 2006.
