Hello Penny, I just wanted to say congratulations on your decision to have weight loss surgery. I see that your date is just around the corner and we can’t wait to welcome you to the other side. As you start to lose the pounds you are going to feel so much better and your energy level will just grow. In just a few short months you’ll be able to do things you never thought possible. The little things will get so much easier, like tying your shoes. I know, I had RNY Gastric Bypass in August of 2004, and I’ve lost 130 lbs. Now the surgery and the change in lifestyle are not walks in the park. That’s why I go to support group meetings and belong to online WLS discussion groups like http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/WLBSS/ . And I check out websites like Obesity Help and http://wlbss.com for support and information. WLBSS stands for Weight Loss Bariatric Surgery Support, and you should take advantage of all the support you can get. Get all your questions answered by experienced losers who are now winners. 2-18-2006 Nine days left before my surgery!!!!! I've lost 5 lbs so far on my pre-op liquid diet. Fastest way i've ever lost weight. I Have only had a few hunger pains, but my stomach gurgles alot. I'm not having any problem at all getting my protein in but My stomach is water logged. I've never drank this much liquid in one day, at any time in my life. Can't wait for my big day.

hello miss Penny! i have been doing OK and my throat is 90% better. i loved updating on my profile but sometimes when the site updates the info gets lost and i would hate to lose all the things i have written so i write once in a while at this blog:http://wls05.blogspot.com/ - you guys continue to be in my thoughts and prayers and woo-hoo for February getting closer and closer :)
