Cindy T.
Hi, I'm Cindy, and am currently 43 years old. I've been overweight since I was about 8, but started eating for reasons other than hunger when I was 5 or 6. I've been the biggest (not the tallest, since I'm just over 5'3" tall) person in most family/friend/school/work groups I've been part of since my early teens, and I'm really ready to blend in physically. So, after lots of prayer and consideration, I made the decision to have Lap-Band surgery, which I'm having 6/7/07. This is the beginning of my new life, I guess.
You could say I'm a pretty emotional person--it's okay, go ahead, everyone says it. I love talking with others about our feelings, but really, I'll talk with you about nearly anything! Love to chat with people, period.
I'm a race fan. Sprint cars most of all, but Nascar keeps me from getting bored, and I've become quite a fan of that as well. For my Nascar buddies, Jeff Burton and his brother Ward are my favorite drivers, because they are such nice guys--gentlemen, regardless of the situation. I respect good sportsmanship above most all other traits, because it requires honesty, integrity, and true character, so it's no wonder the Burton brothers have such a special place in my heart.
Now, as to sprint car drivers, well, I love most of them! I just love to watch them run! Love the smell, the sight, the sound, the feel of the thunder of engines in my chest when they all go by together--yeah, I'm a sprint car junkie! Steve Kinser is the king, but I'm a fan of them all, Sprint cars bring me joy.
Oh, and speaking of joy, my litle puppy Bailey brings me joy also. She's my ten and a half month old long-haired mini dachshund (black and tan), and she's a doll. Stubborn? Sure. Tears up my papers when I leave them unattended and puppy-reachable? Well, yeah, that too. But it doesn't matter! She's my baby, and I love her! Oh, and she's my walking partner too! Therapeutic, and fun! What could be better?
Oh, and can you tell I love writing too?
