Well, it is here and I have reached my goal.  It has been a hell of a ride.  I can honestly say I'm gonna miss the ride.  Now the hard part is here keeping the weight off. I have lost  127 pounds. I must say I don't look bad to be 47. If I could afford to have plastics I would actually be nicely build for my age. My husband has started his quest. We will file with the insurance next month to try and get him approved. Hope we don't have any problems.

Sat May 9th. I got a really bad pain in my back, after three hours of suffering I went to the ER to find out I had a kidney stone. The dr. on call said if it didn't  pass within three days to go see the DR,  so on Monday my birthday May 11, I went to the Dr. to find out it was bad, I had infection set in and that the stone was to large to pass. I had a temp of 102. He sent me straight to the hospital and did surgery within two hours. I'm home now with a stent in place. It's very uncomfortible, will be glad when they take it out.  Just glad they got it out and the infection is clearing up.

I went to my first support group meeting Thursday night.  I really enjoyed it. I have been on a stall for the last couple weeks and it is really pissing me off. I don't understand I don't have any issues. I can eat as fast as I want and nothing seems to bother me.  I wonder if everyone's stomach is the same size or if my Dr. made mine to big.  I'll ask this at the next meeting.

The pain was almost unbelievible. I came home yesterday. Can only rest in the recliner. I still stay a little sick to my stomach not throwing up , thank goodness.

1. Making love to my hubby.
2. Doing stuff and going places with my family
3. Crossing my legs--done
4. Horseback riding
5. Flying on the plane without using the extension==done
6. Fitting in chairs comfortable==done
7. Shopping for clothes at any store==done
8. People looking at me and not be disgusted--done
9. Walking without feeling like my knees are gonna blow
10. Being able to bend over and pick something up--done
11..Going to the beach and not having people make fun of me
12. Getting off my meds--done
13. Being able to hold babies and have a lap for them to set on
14. Be able to go to the movies and fit in the chairs
15. Buying sexy clothes...so my hubby will look at me like he did 18 yrs ago

Well we submitted more paper work from my Dr., on Monday Nov22 and today I called to check the status and I have been approved for Gastric Bypass. I called my surgeons office and I have a date -- Dec 16th--.  I am excited, nervous, scared, elated, happy, sad, mad you name it and I am having those feelings. Everyone please pray that all comes out Ok.

I have been looking  into having this surgery since Jan '08.  I started the six month diet in May '08. I had 3 months of Weight Watchers from '07. The dr's office thinks that the 3months will do. My insurance says 6 months of supervised diet, but it doesn't say consecutive.  I think it will have to be consecutive, so I figure I will have to do three more months before my insurance will even consider it.  I weighed 284 in May. I am down to 278. I take meds for high blood pressure, diabetes, cholestorol and acid reflux.  Well now its a waiting game to see what hoops my insurance wants me to do.  MORE LATER
