"Before surgery: rnI've only met with Dr. Macik once, but my overall impression is that he is very dedicated to helping those of us who have weight related issues. His nutritionist is great. I met with her for my consult and she went over diet plans and nutrition information that I will need to follow for life. rnrn2+ years out:rnI still think Dr. Macik is a very good surgeon, but his bedside manner leaves a bit to be desired. He has been very aggressive with my fills (1.00 cc each time) and I was too tight each time by .5cc. He told me I probably have a slip because a .5cc fill/unfill shouldn't make a noticable difference. I disagree and am seeking a second opinion just to be sure. "

"Dr. Blaudwell is very knowledgeable and caring about her patients. She also has a great nurse practicioner that I see. The office staff is great and if you're looking for a cardiologist I would recommend anyone in this practice."

"Dr. Smiley was the physicologist that did my psych eval for my insurance company. I found her myself (no referral) and ended up making a very good choice in her. She is very pleasant, easy to talk to and knows a lot about eating problems/disorders. If I didn't already have a great therapist I'd see her in a heartbeat."
