My aunt called today with an opprotunity that just doesnt come up very often. She told me if i wanted to quit my job at the hospital she had a spot at an airline in texas..which would send me to another part of tx for training. The job? an AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER! hello?! making way more money than a girl from a small town like me has eeeever seen. my HUGE problem? i love my job. working with patients is what i love to do. but..the money in the other job is amazing & they would put me in school...
im a small town girl..money doesnt mean much to me, but i might be passing up something good.
i have no clue what to do...

So--today i had my one week post Op & i have to say i feel pretty accomplished! Ive lost 13lbs since friday the 27th--whoop whoop!!! I mean i cant say that was from workin out & sweating my butt off (starvation!!!!!!!) haha, but im so proud of myself i could melt! why? im 20. i held THREE jobs at once to pay for everything myself. I didnt have to ask anyone for ANYTHING. i had an "ahhh hah!" moment when i paid my credit card/car payment/car insurance today! ive paid all my bills EARLY this month along with the extra surgery/supplies expenses! GO ME! anyhoo--had to write, i could scream--but im not sure i have the energy at 2am! time for bed...work in three hours.

& im Ready As ive EVER Been!

so, today i am five days POST OP! whoo! i havent been on this site in awhile, so i figured id update. everything happend way too fast and i cant believe the surgery has come and gone. i was the first case on for surgery on friday so that didnt make time for me to stress! thank goodness! there were a few complications--my liver was swollen even though id done the preop diet, so it feels like everything inside of me has been run over and then some! i wasnt able to shake the anesthesia and couldnt breathe on my own for awhile. i was at the hospital for much longer than expected, but im home and doing well! of course im not feeling too, too hot..but im working on it! i cannot wait to go weigh in on thursday, i can already see a difference! my 21st birthday is in july and im determined to "work it!" hahaha! no but i cannot wait to go skydiving...im so ready. i hope everyones doing well & having a fabulous day!
