"Dr. Goodkind took his time with me, he explained what he could do to help me, he took photos and showed me what he would do and how he would do it. He showed people who were my similar size and how they looked before and after so I would have an idea of how I could look and then he explained cost, insurance coverage and recovery time. I was very impressed with him and look forward to having my procedures done. David J. Goodkind, MD Dr. Goodkind graduated from Duke University Medical School. His medical education included studies at the University of London and Oxford University. Dr. Goodkind completed a Christine Kielnert Hand Fellowship at the University of Louisville, Kentucky, and a residency in plastic surgery at Duke University Medical Center. He is a clinical instructor at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Goodkind has practiced in the New Haven area since 1982. "

"My first impression of Dr. Reinhold was that he really is a caring and compassionate doctor who has taken the time to study the effects that obesity has on the body. This is not just a money making surgery to him. He takes the time to answer your questions and concerns and he has been doing this for 15 years. The monthly support groups he has are really good too and have been very helpful to me in making my decision to have the surgery. Dr. R and his assistant Terry are great. They are ready to answer any questions you may have. I have emailed Dr. R directly and he has answered me. I am very impressed with Dr. Reinhold because when I had to be re-scheduled due to illness, he called the hospital and had the put me in on a day that he normally doesnt do surgery because he knew he would be going out of town. If I waited, I probably wouldnt have been able to get in until almost May due to his busy schedule."
