I am 6 years out, I 've lost 200 # and have maintained that weight loss. I help assist with support groups, that has helped me with my success. I spent alot of time in the hospital, with a total of 59 surgeries due to MRSA infection. I would still do it again. I would just chose to have the RNY vs the DS due to malabsorption issues.
I've written a book called "The Lori Popp Story, a story of Hope, Faith and Determination" I do speaking engagements on Never Giving Up.
This is a life change and a life committment. I could have been angry but I chose to stay positive.
I am proud of my accomplishments and I want to wish everyone out there success. One Day at a Time!
