Well I turned 50 on April 4th and I wanted ot be down 100 lbs--I was down 114!!!!  Yeeha!  Everything is going great.  My hair began to fall out 3wks ago and is really falling out--this to will pass.

Well, I'm switched!!!  After a lengthy hospital stay including five days in ICU with a bleeding complication----I'm home!!!! Surgery was 11 days ago today.  I am having a lot of trouble getting anything into me.  Everything tastes totally gross.  Please tell me this will pass.  Since I did loose some blood and my blood count remains on the low side I am very weak.  It's getting me a little down.
Jenna Lynne--I am so sorry to hear about your mother in law.  My sympathy goes out to you and your husband.  Your 35th birthday will be something to celebrate!

Last night my 15 year old son told me that he didn't agree with me having surgery.  This upset me very much.  My husband sort of agreed with him.  All this time I thought my husband was on board,  now that surgery is 3 weeks away, he tells me this.  When I further questioned him he said he is just scared that I won't wake up from anesthesia--that is normal. He also said that he thinks I will continue to eat unhealthy. 
I don't know what to say to my son.  I keep encouraging him to sit down and read some of the stories on  OH.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
