I had DS surgery in March of 2002 with good results. I initially weighed 442lbs and about 1.5 years later lost 282 lbs. Lowest weight was 155.
Fast forward 8 years and now I have a 5 year old son with special needs, and have gained about 70 lbs. I think my ideal weight is about 135, so I am having revisional surgery in a few days (Oct. 12, 2010). Hoping for a good outcome, not too much pain, and plenty of weight loss. I haven't found many DS patients that have had the revisional surgery yet, so hoping I'm not one of the first.
Fingers crossed, nervous for the next step, and hoping the surgeon I picked does a good job.
