My name is Phyllis and I am a born again Christian. I married to a wonderful man, a mother of 8, gave birth to 2, 2 stepdaughters and 4 adopted. I have about 20 grandkids (LOL Lost count) and 6 great grandkids.
I am morbidly obese, with a lot of medical health issues and the dr. said that if I didn't have this surgery, it would be 5 yrs. bed, 10 yrs. dead. Well I couldn't let that happen.
I finally got a insurance that pays for it, so here we are. I have already done everything except the pre-op and then the surgery, scheduled for Mar. 31, 15. I am excited. I start my 2 week liquid diet on the 16th.
I have a great support system with my family and they have been a big help. Encouraging me and telling me "NO", even the grandkids. lol
I could use some great advice about the food, what to watch out for and the such.
