Been large all my life, or at least most of it. I started my first diet in the first grade. Good 'ol plain Tuna on dry toast for lunch. Since then I've tried a lot of diets and had some success but not much.
About five years ago i heard about gastric bypass and started checking it out. Finally last year, with my joints hurting more each day, not being able to get around and being able to do less and less, I decided to start taking the first steps down the path to getting the surgery. After attending several informational meeting for diffrent area programs i settled on GBMC's program.
Currently I'm in my second month of my six month doctor supervised weight loss with a goal of 100lbs. So far i've been doing ok with around 36-lbs my first month and 24-lbs my second.
