"Dr. Westmoreland is the absolute best bariatric surgeon that anyone could possibly ask for. It's very essential to research your Dr before making your decision. Dr Westmoreland has an excellent success rate, is accredited in bariatric surgery which is an added plus, he takes the time to explain complications and answer your questions, and before surgery he will pray with you and your family. He also prayed with my husband and I before leaving the hospital and asked if I had my directions for after care before discharging me or any questions. His office staff are diligent in being a part of your success. There is no judgement made only smiles and your questions answered. I was given all of the information needed before hand and as long as you follow these tools and exercise then there is no way you can be unsuccessful. I had surgery June 2013 and have already lost 145# in the last 10 months. I was able to come off many of my meds and can use a cane instead of being restricted to a rolling walker. I've also managed to start doing more exercise. I created a Facebook page for added support for new surgery patients and even those like myself that have had surgery because it is also key to have continued support. The page is TN BARIATRIC LOSERS and is a closed group meaning no one but members can see what you've posted. Thanks to Dr. Westmoreland, his staff including the nutritionist, the hospital support, tools provided, the hospital support groups and FB page I have and will continue to be successful. I can not give enough thanks to Dr Westmoreland. He is a fabulous Dr and as I stated to many times I am blessed to have found him and happy that he knew his calling. Thanks Dr. Westmoreland for all you do whether bariatric surgeries that have saved myself and others health or your other humanitarian efforts. Phoebe Cantrell"
