RNY into VSG

Well it's been awhile since i posted anything, Just getting used to my new stomach, Well i'll start off by telling you about my surgery on June 12 2007 i went to Grand Rapids,MI Spectrum Blodgett Hospital (MMPC), I went in thinking i was going to get my RNY and when i woke up after surgery the doctor didn't even tell me about my surgery as a matter of fact i don't remember them coming to take me to the surgery room, they gave me something to calm me down so i wouldn't be nervous after that i don't remember saying bye to them but they said i did, I don't remember the recovery room, Dr. Foote told me that they could not do the RNY because my intestines was to short and i had to much fat in my stomach, So they decided to do the VSG as of today i weigh 293 i started at 368 and got down to 357.6 be fore surgery.
On my 2 week liquid diet!

Well I'm on day 3 of my liquid diet, My mind is playing tricks on me I'm not hungry but my mind is telling me i want the food i used to eat, I just drink/eat my diet stuff and go work around the house or swim in the pool or get on the computer to get my mind off the foods i used to eat, When i went to the surgeons office last wednesday to get the liquid diet stuff they weighed me and i was 357.6, this morning i weighed myself and weighed 350.
Getting closer to June 12 surgery!

Hi Well I got my approval a few days ago and was taking a few days to think of what my new life is going to be like and i really can't wait, I have been overweight my hole life, in high school I was one of 2 overweight guys, When i graduated in 1991 I had a goal I wanted to become a professional truck driver which i accomplished.
I drove for Burlington motor carrier's then Gainey's transportation service then amazon after i was with amazon for a couple of years i decided it was time to be my own boss and bought my first 1994 Freightliner truck and leased on with amazon for a few months, I then leased on to Dart Transportaion out of Egan,Mn and had the best time with them and seen Alot of America and got paid doing so. I then bought a brand new 1999 freightliner and leased it on with Dart and Hired a driver to drive my older truck in may of 2000 my dirver wrecked my 1994 truck my driver was ok but the truck was totaled, Then july 20th 2000 i was in Appleton,WI unloading my trailer and blowed out a couple of disc in my back, I then had back surgery on September 9th 2000 to remove the pieces, i have been disabled since and I'm hoping with surgery I'll lose weight and be able to walk without pain.
