I worked/work in fire and ems now for 16 years @ 13 i had to have 3 steel pins put in my hip because I was out growing my bones.I played all 4 years of high school football and got a full ride to N.C State.I knew my knee was week when i went to summer training.
Well of course i would totally blow my knee in the 2nd game we played..
I was sent back home and my Full ride was pulled. I went back into Fire and E.M.S.
. I made Capt on the fire Dept by the age of 21. I worked Fire Dept,E.M.S. and Law enforcment until my F.D. crew had a roof Drop in on us and at that time I figured It was time to head back to school. I ended up at E.C.U. with a degree in computer maintenance engineering and opened up my own computer shop..I meet my wife while in school and we have been together for 10 years,married for 6 and now have wide open 2 1/2 Y/O son.
My whole life I was an ATV freak and it caught up with me. I had a crash and broke my back in 3 places and now have had 4 back surgeries.I was unable to hit the gym again after my last Surgery, So the weight just pack on with the fastness. I have been on pain meds for the past 3 years and just couldn't take it anymore.
I was told about a great Dr. and my wife knew many people that knew and had used him and he was also Registered with the BARIATRIC Center of excellence, So after jumping through all the hoops I was ready to do this thang. lol
