Hi all my name is Paula I'm 35 and i had my surgery on 12/12/06 My Best friend and i started this jurney back in may of this year her name is jennie and you can find her on here also she had hers on 12/11/06.So my story goes like this hundreds of dollars spent losing the weight just to gain it back again the last straw for me was gaining back 80 pounds after loosing 130 for my wedding..I'm starting my journey at 287lbs and i have lost 18 lbs as of today 12/28/06.My family didnt want me to do it but i felt it was right for me and thank god for jennie and her deciding to go along with me on this adventure I dont know what i would do with out her .My 14 year old daughter( nikki ) is also a big help my 6 year old (tyler) dosnt really know what is going on just that his mom has a few ugly cuts on her tummy...My husband (Junior) Really didnt want me to do it but he has come arround and is a big help.. I run a Day Care out of my parents home that i took over, after my mom retired. Its a challenge to cook for them and not taste the food,(one of my bad habbits) and then there is the down time when they are sleeping and all my work is done and my mind wants to eat because that is what i use to do.. So to all that say we took the easy way out kiss my booty this is not easy! Love and Peace to all
