I am finally back to work. All went well with my surgery on 030305. I wasn't quite prepared for the first time they make you get up, which is only a few hours after surgery and can't lie it was very painful, but well worth it. My 6 week check up was 041205 and I was down 45 lbs. I am already able to tell the difference. Thanks everyone for the prayers. My surgeon was great and the best news is he is trying to move to a practice in my town. I sure hope all goes well because I would love that. Anyway good luck to all who will be having surgery in the upcoming months and congrats to all who have already had it. Life begins after WLS. Thank God and my surgeon it is working for me. Love to all. Patty

I just wanted to take a minute to Thank everyone who has posted their well wishes here. I am only 2 days away as long as my final testing all goes well today. I am very anxious to get this thing rolling and begin my new healthy life as a loser. Your prayers and well wishes are very much appreciated. I don't have access to a computer at home so won't be able to update. Maybe my sister will be able to after she gets back to work. God bless you all and see you on the losing side soon.

Patty, Congratulations on your up coming surgery. Wanted you to know that I was thinking about you our prayers are with you. I know this will make a positive change in your life. Before you know it, you will be up and around enjoying your new life. I am thrilled with my results check out my profile for all the weight and inches I have lost in the past 9 months its been wonderful. I am so thankful God has been with me on this journey and I have not had any problems and am thankful for all the support from this site. Surgery Date 5/24/04 Weight 243/158/-85/not at goal 147 but VERY HAPPY!
