Hi, Patsy: Just wanted to send my prayers your way; I had surgery on 08/19/03 at St. Vincent Carmel, and was very pleased with the care I received from them. My Dr. was Dr. Cacucci, who is one of Dr. Jones' partners. Don't worry about getting in all the liquids and food in, especially at first. It is difficult. You just have to remember to sip, sip, sip, and walk, walk, walk! Please remember to do everything the doctor tells you; you will be much better off in the long run. Don't try to push your pouch. If you still feel hungry after your 2 ounces of food, in a half hour try drinking some milk. That usually works for me. Your sensation of being full will feel different; it will feel higher up, and it will feel more like just not being hungry, as opposed to being stuffed like we used to. Please feel free to e-mail me any time; I'd be happy to help any way I can! Good luck, Sweetie, and God Bless!
