"I became a patient of Dr. Bauman's one week ago. I had my LapBand surgery done in Mexico. After 5 weeks I developed a problem with the port incision. When I called his office and asked if he would see me the response was YES. Never did Dr. Bauman ask me why I went to Mexico, didnt look at me with that look of disbelief (as the other doctors in ER did) never once did I feel like he wasnt concerned for my well-being. He saw a patient that needed his expertise and help and was there to give it. Dr. Bauman is truly a caring, physician. I have worked in the operating room for 30 years, this type of physician is far and few to come by. I am glad I did. During my discharge visit with him at the hospital, I said, I am truly grateful to him for taking me as his patient, he simply said, \"I am glad I could help\". There is nothing more to say.
