Hello again, Just talked to TJ and he sounds strong this evening. Yeah! He did say he's going through the "testing of the food" thing right now. He had some soft food last night that didn't set too well, but this evening was a regular dinner. He's getting out of the hospital Friday morning, and should be checking in with us sometime over the weekend or next week. Take care, Kat.

Hello Everyone! I went to visit TJ (Terry Joyner)after work, since I am also a RN across the street from University at LA COUNTY USC MEDICAL CENTER :) TJ looked great he was sitting up in the chair watching television and answering the phone :) He has been up and walking around, and he still has his epidural in for good pain relief :) I visited with him for almost an hour, he was in good spirits and is excited about beginning his new life. Hello All, I just talked to TJ! He sounds A LOT stronger, but he has many hospital horror stories to share when he gets back home. Otherwise, he's healing right on schedule, at least according to his surgeon. Hope the rest of your weekend is nice. Kat

TJ, my brother, welcome to the 'other side' and congratulations!!! As someone who shared that high BMI status, I just want to tell you it is nothing but better from here on out!!! Just remember to WAALK, WALK, WALK!!! and definitely do those deep breathing things....Love you, man! Merri
