"The hospital staff did not seem especially aware of dietary restrictions of the gastric bypass patient. Education for nursing staff would be adviseable. I spent much time discussion restrictions with nurses and they seemed genuinely interested. I believe this hospital is in the process of formalizing a program for gastric bypass and this would help to maintain a consistent level of patient care."

He has spent 1/2 of his life (30 years) doing WLS surgery, and does many types. I was a little concerned that he didn't have a scale that went over 350 lbs., but maybe they hang weights....I'll be under 350 quickly after the surgery anyway!! Dr Chua spent lots of time identifying my eating habits, and I felt confident he was matching the best surgical solution to my habits. He doesn't take a one solution fits all approach and I think that speaks volumes! Tammy Lynn, his office assistant is also fantastic. "
