"I wasn't sure about Dr. Rodriguez on my first visit... he was in a hurry and I felt he wanted me to have the Bypass instead of the Band, which I wanted. I stuck with the band, and after a couple more visits, I knew he was THE ONE! I learned he's a trauma surgeon, if he says something, you'd better do it, and he knows his stuff. When I had a problem, he got me in right away, although normally, it talkes forever to see him. There's an office wait usually, but now I know why...he's the best! I recently moved to IL and he offered to continue seeing me although my medical card wouldn't pay for the fills. He said it didn't matter. Not too many doctors left like that. I just wish I could drive the 450 miles to keep him as my doctor. I've reached my goal of a 200 lb weight loss and so glad he was my doc. YOU ROCK, Doctor Rod!"
