Went home. Lot of really bad gas pain, otherwise all ok.

Much less pain, felt pretty good.

Arrived at 8:00, surgery was at 10:00. Pre-op was very busy but well organized. They did a good job of preparing me for what to expect. Surgery went fine, no problems. More pain than I expected but was manageble and continued to improve.

Got my ultrasound results back yesterday, no gall stones so I get to keep my gall bladder. The less they have to mess with my plumbing the better. Also had my pre-op physical, everything is A-OK. The hospital called for the pre-admission stuff. Looks like this is it. If I can make it to Tuesday without catching a bug or something, its a go. Got one more day on the liquid protein, then one day on the clear liquids and laxatives, and that's it!

Started 10 day pre-op liquid protein diet.

Met with Dietician, start 10 day preop liquid diet tomorrow.

Had prep meeting with Barb and first consult with Dr Svendesen. Went great. Surgery scheduled for 2/20.

Got approval for RNY from BCBS of MN after 2 weeks.
