The Journey Begins Again

So I had a RNY in November in 2001 and although I lost 80lbs in a year. It slowly started to come back and then I had a baby in 2005 and have gained a total of 140lbs back. Its been very depressing, but I am determined to go back to my post op weight ! I was happy at 180lbs bc I am 5'9 and I like a little meat on me, not this much meat !!
I have Kaiser Insurance right now, and they won't do a revision so I have to wait until Jan 2008 when my Aetna PPO kicks in.
My original surgeon was the fabulous Dr. Ali from Smart Dimensions, he is so wonderful, and I will be going thru them again for my revision from RNY to DS which I have been researching extensively.
I think my downfall was Diet Coke and will start to ween myself off of it as of NOW ! The surgeons tell you no sugars, or regular soda but Diet Coke was like an addiction and I was up to three a DAY.
So that's my background and hope to keep posting regularly.
