Sayeed Ikramuddin
"I found Dr. Ikramuddin to be very open, informative and to the point. He was very realistic about what I could expect. He is a very busy man so expect to wait an hour or more if you have a late morning or afternoon appointment. The office staff at the U of M are great- and very supportive. Dr. Ikramuddin emphasizes after care, and the program has a structured time table for follow up appointments, extending to yearly for the rest of the patient's life. After care includes visits with the nurse practioner, surgeon or resident, and the dietician. Risks of surgery were very well explained prior to my deciding what procedure to have. All patients attend an informational seminar as the 'entry point' to the weight loss surgery clinic. I could not rate Dr. Ikramuddin any higher. I was very pleased with my care, and his approach to the surgery."
