Hi my name is Nykole Gonzalez exactly four years ago I weighted 130 lbs I bet you don't believe that but it is true. That year I gratuated high school and became very lazy. I worked as a waitress part time for 2 years in that time you would think I would lose weight but for me it was more of an opportunity to eat at work. In the time from 2004 to Feb 2008 I have gained over 110 lbs. I am tired of living this way so lat year Feb 2007 I began looking at things I could do to change my life. I met Dr. Carlos Barba who is absolutly wonderful now I am not completly shy to the bypass surgery my Mom had it in 1999 with Dr. Barba. My aunt and Uncle had it last year with Dr. Aranow in Middletown and my grandfather had it in 2005 in Virginia with amazing results. My mom also had many complications so I knew the risks I was putting myself in. I am so glad that I am doing this. I can't wait to get back to my old self. my goal is to lose 100 lbs and fit into my high school cheerleading uniform. My husband is also having this surgey on March 3rd this is going to be a wonderful transformation for the both of us. my surgery date is scheduled on Monday Feb 11th 4 days from now. I amj very excited and I will write back more after surgery.
