"The only problem I had at Carmel St. Vincent's was with an agency nurse. She just didn't seem to know what she was doing. Her idea of a routine left a lot to be desired. She wanted to give me more insulin when my blood sugar was REALLY low. I told her that I would NOT LET her give me more insulin. If I had not been alert, she would have given me another UN-NEEDED dose of insulin. She recommended that I drink Crystal lite lemonade to get my blood sugar up. I told her that it would not raise my blood sugar--it is SUGAR and CARB. FREE! She argued that it would help raise my blood sugar. I did complain, and they immediately sent someone in to talk to me, and changed my nurses. I had great care again, from that moment on. "
