Hello, My name is Rhonda:
I live in Cambridge Ontario. I'm morbidly obese and very
. I want to be happy but this summer has been
so depressing. I'm so large(294lbs) at 5' 7" It's been so hot that I can't go out and enjoy a round of golf with
my partner of nine years
(Jason) without literally throwing up,heaving foam and the headaches are unbearable
.I,m tired
of the public looking at me with discuss in their eyes. I'm tired of going on one diet after diet with failure
after failure. The money I have spent over the years with Weight Watchers. Gym memberships, wouldn't go
because too intimated with my size. My Dad named me FAT Pig all my life right up until I walked down the isle.
Sure I have lost as much as 70lbs.But only to put it on, over and over again. I have been an educational EA for
23years with our board. I work with kids who have behaviour issues and academic problems.Last year I was
scheduled in the kindergarten sitting. I 
it. The children never judge you, they don't look at you as being to
large. Actually when I would get my daily hugs the kids would say" Ms. P you always smell nice and feel fluffy.
Right out of the mouth of Babes. I have a doctors appointment this Friday July 29th at 930am. I will ask him to
please fill out the referral papers
to OHIP for a Roux-eh- y. I have typeII diabetes, high cholesterol,take two
medications for blood pressure.My BMI is 46 I have had long talks with the doc. for twenty years about my weight.
Only having
him give me more pills and more pills. I have to be my own advocate. I have reaserched about Roux-eh -y surgery
and the surgeons who preform them at the Guelph General Hospital in Guelph Ontario. I have become a member with
wonderful site. My sister went to Michigan State to have her gastric bypass done. She had Dr. Steven Pop. Loved him.
Well that's my story, I hope I haven't bored you.
