Well I've was a big infant, big baby, big teenager, and big adult.......In my teen years I was about 220 lbs. once I had my daughters I got even bigger.  Now I'm 38 years old and 350 lbs.  I have high blood pressure and back problems, and eventhough I do things on my own its really hard to be as quick and active as others.  There are things that are harder on me like going up stairs without huffing and puffing and so many other things.  I've never been thin in my life, but I know it's easier to do many things.  It's embarassing to go out and eat and have to ask for a table instead of a booth.  Reality is that being a big person limits you from enjoying life to the maximum.  I pray to god that the surgery helps me change my life around, so I can join my husband play with our grandkids instead of sitting down and watching them run and play ball.
