"Portsmouth Hospital was fine for a short stay procedure, I do not have any experience with them in regards to longer term care. I found it to be adequate. Nothing Fancy, just the basics."
"I first met Dr.Gens at the informational seminar in Derry NH, and he was the one I initially asked my questions regarding WLS and pregnancy to. He was informative and straightforward, and has always seemed to have my personal goals in mind when we meet. The team at Portsmouth hospital was wonderful to work with, caring and helpful and readily available. The one thing I felt that was missing from my pre-op experience was having people that had already gone through the surgery be a part of the team. At the monthy meetings there were plenty of post-surgery people, but I always felt like it was a quick talk and that was it. I wanted to really be able to pick someone's brain who had gone through what I was preparing for, and I think that a post-surgery patient should be part of the \"team\" of people you meet with. "
