I am at the beginning of my journey towards a new me. I have tried in the past to lose weight. I had limited success, but always gained the weight back, and then some. After I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes earlier this year, I decided something really had to be done. My doctor suggested weight loss surgery. The more I researched it, the more excited I became about it. I discovered that it was a covered surgery on my insurance policy. So after much research, I decided to pursue WLS. My first appointment and seminar with the surgeon I chose is this coming Wednesday, Sept. 26. I am so excited to begin this journey towards a healthier, new me.
