WOOT WOOT! I found a new PCP that will take me as a patient and if I am 110% dedicated to losing weight during the 6 months he does the diet and exercise counseling he will write me a letter of refferal. This has taken so much of a burden off of me!
I for sure chose a surgeon, Dr. Keith in Norman. His office not only takes medicare but they will file it as my secondary insurance.The other surgeon I was looking at would only file my primary insurance. So my decision was made for me. Dr. Keith is who I was originally looking at anyway, and I am scheduled to go to one of his seminars on the 27th of this month.
So tomorrow is my last splurge day and starting Wednesday I am on a strict diet to show that I am ready for this life changing event.

Well so far, I have called about 6 different PCP doctor's offices won't do the 6 month weight loss counceling with me. I haven't given up yet, I am going to do this. I know of one doctor that will do the coundeling, he is an hour away however. I am waiting on calls back from 3 of the docotr's I have called. I am trying not to let this be a stumbling block for me, but I am soooo inpatient.
