Thank you all for your posts and kind words, well wishes, and prayers. At this time my surgery has been postponed to a future date. My surgeons mother passed away on Sunday. Keep Dr. Bour and his family in your prayers during this time of loss and also pray for me as I wait on another date. I will update again when I get a new date. God bless you all and keep you in his tender care.

Best wishes for a pain free post op period and a quick recovery. The first two weeks are the hardest. Be patient and just practice doing everything exactly the way the surgeon tells you. You've made a wonderful decision to take back your life from the disease calld morbid obesity! Carol

Angela, Wishing you the very best with your surgery, your recovery and then again in your new journey. My surgery is a day after yours ... this is a strange emotional rollercoaster isn't it? Our lives are about to experience one of the biggest changes we will ever have. So exciting and yet the unknown is always a little scary. But we just need to remember our reasons for chosing this path in the first place and keep our goals in focus.
