5 Months Post Op

Things are still going great. This is THE best thing I have ever done for my self by far. My whole family benefits from it greatly because I can do so much more than I could before. I am more active and feel better about it. I was always pretty active but know it's just easier. I have lost nearly 90 lbs. 88 to be exact which is mind blowing to me. Last time I lost this much weight was when I did WW 8 years ago and needless to say I gained every pound back and a few more for good measure! It feels different this time and I know this is it. I still haven't had a fill. My Dr. said I'm losing well and doesn't want to give me a fill unless I feel I need one. I think I'm doing well for now so I'll just stay as I am. That's the great thing about the band, you know it's there and when I need a fill I will get one. That's all for now. I'll update when I get to the 100lb. mark. Hope that's not to far away!!

Everything is going great. I'm down 50 lbs., which I can not believe. It seems to be SO much easier than I thought it would be. I can tolerate anything I eat so far. I haven't got a fill yet because my Dr. thinks I don't need one. I agree( at least for now) but don't want to fall backwards either. I have been going to the gym 3 days a week and I started using the circut machines for my arms. I can see they are going to be a problem. That's all for now. I'll try to keep updating this journey.
