06/02/10 It has been a really long time since Ive been here to post anything. A lot has changed over the yrs~ A LOT! To say lifes been a roller coaster from hell would be a major understatement. All the struggles, the fighting, the tears, triumphs and losses~ and here I sit. Once again facing the OBESITY DEMON. I had finaly gotten to a point with my weight where I was ALMOST happy, all I needed was to get some reconstructive work and I was all set. WAS! I unexpectedly found myslf pregnant at 41. After finaly getting under 200 for the first time since I was 10 yrs old I was now pregnant and putting that weight right back on. Now its that dreaded battle of getting people to just do simple things, just fill out 6 papers (PCP supervised diet history) from my surgeon in Pitt. so she can get me scheduled to come in for consult and get everything else under way. The Band Over Bypass (BOB) is the next step Im hoping to take in this journey~ hoping, fully expecting, this to be the answer to my weight issues. I had done extremely well maintaing my weight loss after my gastric bypass in 03. It took some work but it wasnt impossible~ especialy after learning what MY body needed. Bottom line is I need the professionals to do their job so I can get my life back.
