"Dr. DeWitt is the greatest. He managed to perform laproscopic surgery on me even though I have had numerous abdominal surgeries and have a lot of scar tissue. I was up and walking the first day and I went home on the third day. I am two weeks post-op and have had no nausea or any adverse reactions. Dr. DeWitt seems to really enjoying transforming people's lives. Not only is he a great surgeon but he also has a wonderful bedside manner."

"I did not feel as though the staff understood the surgery or the aftercare needed. I do not believe that the staff responded to my requests as quickly as they should have. The thermostat in my room was broken and I was too hot most of the time. The blood pressure cuffs that they used were too small and resulted in high blood pressure readings that were incorrect and which also caused bruising to both arms. I have talked with Dr. DeWitt since I first posted this and he assured me that mine was an isolated incident and that steps had been taken to make sure that it didn't happen again. I know that a friend of mine had WLS at Carraway the next week and was treated very well."
