Today I visited Dr. Andradez my primary doctor. I was suprised that I lost 7 pounds in a couple of week. I was stuck at 180 pounds. Now I am goin down again. I thank God every day for giving a secound chance at life. God was the one who made this possible for me. I am exercising 5x30 minutes (walk or used exercise DVDs). I still have my protein drinks. I stay away carbs. I always have my protein shakes a least once a day (35 gms of protein), I eat my protein and vegetables first then carbs last. I also I have my multi-vitamins, calcio, and B complex. In order for these surgery to work for the rest of your life. You have to stick with a diet low in carbs, take protein drinks, take your suplements, and EXERCISE AT LEAST 5 TIMES A WEEK. I encourage any one to do there research and have the surgery.
I don't regreted I thank God for giving me this opportunity. Take advange of the surgery it is the best thing you could do for your health.

I am doing well overall. I am not working yet.
It's been 3 weeks (post) and I continue to have gases. I am having problems sleeping. The gases don't let me sleep. I walk during the night time and date time. I was taking Gas-X but doctor told me to change to Milk Magnesium. I just hope that this stage moves on and I could be gases free. I am still in stage II and working my way up. It has been a journey.
Update: Today is 5-11-08
I just got out of the hospital on Saturday. My surgery was on Monday May 5,2008. I am still bruised, tired and have a lot of Gas. I heard it comes with the package so I am doing well so far. I am still in my liquid diet (nasty). The only complain I have is that the Gas does not allow me to sleep well, and it gives me pain in my chest at times. The doctor said to walk it out. I am doing my best.
Before the surgery I lost 22 pounds. I appreciate it from my heart to all the people that have helped me with my transition, and of course I thank GOD for being with me through my operation. GOD is good.
