Well its been 2 yrs since I've had the lap band surgery. I have gained more weight than i was before i had it. First of all I started with all my tests and got done with one hospital, then a month later he no longer was going to be doing the surgery at this particular hospital and where he went my insurance wasnt accepted. Ok next I go to another hospital and have the surgery it came out well and went for my first post op visit got a small fill got another appt for 1 month go back to see him and he's moved out of town... I really wanted to stick with my same surgeon. Ok next I ended up seeing another Dr that took over and oh has it been a roller coaster. He want u to lose a certain amount of pds before he will fill you, then, attend classes every so often, then I got overfilled by a student he let practice on me hell im too frustrated now!!! By the time I drove way to Chicago to sit in their E.R. for damn near a whole day finally was seen and deflated. I just never went back and got a fill. Didnt like the vomiting part of it. Im going to try it on my own with exercising.
