"Dr. Burleson was great! He presented options and let me make the choice. I was afraid to do the RNY. He told me the benefits of RNY vs. Lap Band. No pressure, just the facts. He returned my pages when I was worried about the decision I'd made. He was very understanding when I freaked out and changed my surgery date!rnHe is a little rough around the edges on the first meeting but that quickly fades away.rnI've been fortunate to not have any post surgical complications. I'm sure this has been due to Dr. Burleson's surgical competence. His bedside manner is wonderful. He told me what to expect before, during and after the surgery. He also explained all of this to my family... over and over again. rnDr. Burleson has left the Twin Cities area and is not head of a large Bariatric Clinic in Florida. If you are in that region of the US and are considering a surgical intervention, look him up. You will be pleased!"
"The worst of the post op care came from radiology. I was supposed to drink way more contrast that my pouch could hold and I got sick. I don't know that there is much the radiology team could have done about that since a certain amount of contrast is necessary for the test to be valid. It was just very uncomfortable."
