FINALLY......WHAT A LONG RIDE THIS HAS BEEN

WELL I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THIS IS THE WEEK.  AFTER HAVING TO POSTPONE IT 3 TIMES I AM FINALLY GOING TO BE BANDED THIS THURSDAY 6/26.  MY EMOTIONS ARE RUNNING SO HIGH.  I AM SO AFRAID THAT I AM GOING TO GET A CALL AND WILL HAVE TO POSTPONE THIS AGAIN.  WENT FOR MY PRE-OP THIS PAST FRIDAY.  EVERYTHING WENT WELL.  SEEMS TO BE MOVING IN THE POSTIVE DIRECTION.  PLEASE SAY A PRAYER FOR ME THAT EVERYTHING GOES AS PLANNED.  THANK YOU ALL....KATE

Hello everyone.....I received the best news today...My insurance company finally approved my surgery... I am so happy...My surgery date is Oct. 15th....25 days away.....thank you to Dr. Artruso office for fighting for me....My new life is going to begin in less than a month....yeahhhh....

Just got the word this afteroon....insurance company denied surgery.  Now I have to start an appeal thing.....This to me is so frustrating....We pay all this money for insurance and when we need or want to use it they say sorry.....not enough information...I am just sick over this....Has anubpdy else ever had trouble with the insurance company?   Please let me know...Well if they think that I am giving up they are dead wrong...I will keep you all posted...Bye for now  Kate

Hello all...I am so disappointed..insurance company needs more information from PCP as to weight loss needs..So date is going to have to be postponed for a little while...as soon as I get it I will let you know...

I spoke to the doctors office on Friday and they haven't heard anything yet.  Maybe by Monday, they said they will call then.  I am so anxious...I hope insurance is not going to jerk me around like so many others..Oh well I guess I will find out soon enough....POSITIVE THINKING, POSITIVE THINKING....
