Hello, It's been a while and I have no excuse. The only thing I can say is I haven't been busy, just to tired. All I want is just a little bit of energy and I'll feel fabulous.It's been 2months and the weight is falling off, as of today I'm down 50 lbs since surgery and 65 lbs total, so I would have to say I'm doing great. TA TA FA Now. GG

Hello, well today I decided to get on the scale, I was very hesitate at first but then just jumped on. Wow!!! down 13lb. I know I'd loss cause I reach deep into the closet and put on a pair of jeans that I had out grown. Dr appt on  the 6th of Nov lets see what the scale say then. TA TA Far Now....GG

Well I made it through. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Surgery Monday home on Wednesday no complications at all feel really good. I have a little pain but my liquid pain meds take care of that. I have no problem sipping my water but still figuring out how i'ma get the 64 grams of protein down. I mixed some with water so hopefully that will help.  Will post later feeling sleepy so TA TA Far Now......... GG

Well the time has come, I have about 7 hours til my new day. Not to excited anymore just as calm as can be. In the morning I might be sanging another tune. 6 am is my time to join the others on the losers bench. Ta-Ta For Now GG

Well, I don't know where to start. I've started gee ting everything together I will need after surgery. The more I buy the more excited I'm getting knowing this day has finally come. Before to long I'll be able to walk and move around with no problems.

Well the time has finally come I have 1 week til my surgery.
I'm starting to get a little nervous, but I know this will pass.
Pre-op was last Thursday got there at 8:30am left at 2:00pm long day
So now I feel I'm on the count down.TA TA for Now. GG

Today was a strange and very busy day, once I had a chance to breath I called my surgeons office to see if they had sent my paperwork off, and to my surprise I was told I was approved. This was a way to end a stressful day. Ta Ta Fa Now  GG

Hello, well now i'm waiting, hopefully my paperwork was sent off on Fri 29th. I was told it should take a week then I'll know something. This waiting is killing me. 

Hello, well today was and exciting day for me. To start out I had my consult with Dr. Ben-David, After driving and hour and a half and no less
through tropical storm Fay from St. Augustine to Gainesville I can say it was an a amusing trip. I first talked to one of the residents, she was very nice, she explained that she would talk to me and then she'll talk to Dr. Ben-David and the both of them would talk to me. Once i'd answered her questions and she examined me she went out of the room to talk to the Dr. I was so nervous because I know this is my only chance at becoming healthy. Dr Ben-David was so nice he agreed that I did need to have this surgery (RNY). He asked how much weight I wanted to lose and I told him I wanted to lose at least 140lbs that would put me at 150lbs, he decided I should only lose 100lbs. So his goal is 170lbs and i'm ok with that. NOW i'm waiting his first date for surgery is LATE October!!! So that gives me a month and half to lose the 14lbs he wants me to lose. I know I'll do it because I've already lost 8lbs in one month. TaTa for now..... Thanks for listening and have a blessed day. GG

Today was a good day. I had my psych consult, to get clearance for surgery and she cleared me. I was a little nervous cause the first thing she asked was did I want the lap band and I told her NO I wanted to have the RNY so she asked me why would I want to put myself through having the RNY surgery and theres a risk that the weight would come back. I had to inform her that I 've done my research and at this point I think this is the best choice for me, and if my surgeon tells me different then I would do whats recommended. She also suggested I do a 6mt weight loss thing with diet pills with her, so I had to let her know I would do as she ask, but I've been fighting this battle of the buldge for more the 14 years and the pills that have been prescribe haven't work fully so she says lets give it 1mt and see what happens. I guess I gave her the right answer cause she didn't say anything else about it and started talking about my question that I answered prior to her coming into the room. She look over the one sheet(theres 3) and said your very depressed. I wanted to say try walking around with this extra weight and not being able to move like you want to and tell me it all happy times. But I didn't  I just smiled and said your Right. Anyway I felt she kinda felt my pain because she was a large woman herself and it did make me feel more comfortable talking to her, to say the least she gave me my clearance letter a Rx for weight loss pills, wellburtin, and benadryl. Don't ask me why I'm doing as i'm told until farther notice. So on the 21st we will see what happens. Ta Ta for now.  Thank you for listening and have a blessed day.GG
