I am counting down!!! 53 days until my new Birthday

I am so not nervous. My surgery date is only 53 days away. Im trying to convince myself that it's not that far away. lol.. I pray that all works out in the surgery and there after. I have a son and a daughter, neither of which are excited about me getting the surgery. They are not against it, they are just nervous about me going in for this type of surgery. Understandably so. My daughter is 18 and weighs 100 pounds soaking wet with cement shoes on. She doesnt understand how hard it is to lose weight. So I don't expect her to understand why I have chosen such a drastic measure. I have 2 friends that I have had for over 20 years and they are very supportive of my decision to have this surgery. I had to drag one with me to an information session and she asked more questions than I did. She became familiar with the procedure and is now gung ho with me getting the surgery. I cant wait to start my new life. I am bit anxious about how quickly I will bounce back after the surgery. I know the process is different for everyone. Anyway we must endure the storm to get to the rainbow.
