Hey all I had my surgery done on the 27 Th of Dec. of 2006. Yep all most 2 years out. I was 365 lbs at the time the surgery was done. I didn't have any problem at all with getting approved. I had united health care and they were great. Only problem was I went to the first doc and was told i would have to lose 50 lbs before he would do it .... Yeah i was upset and felt like i wouldn't do it then i got a second visit with another doc Robert Marvin in Houston Texas he was great after listening to him at one of the meetings he saw me right after and told me he could do my surgery and i wasn't a risk at all unlike what the other doc told me .... i was soooooo happy a few months later my surgery was done .... it is almost 2 years and i am 189 currently and trying to get down to 160 in the next few months and get the tummy tuck done....I'm so happy i had this done because now i cant do things i could never do at 365 and plus I'm only 4'10 in height so just walking was a big task for me....
