hello everyone just wanted to give a quick update on my 6 month visit at the doctors office I am now currently down to 310 which leads me to a total weight loss of 110 pounds I am super excited and can't wait to continue my journey post Rny will keep you guys posted soon peace and blessings and Happy New Year to everyone

So excited I had my 3 month appt today and I am down a total of 75lbs!!! Yay I was so happy to hear the news. I had a few concerning labs which was my iron and potassium levels were low which is somewhat my blame bcuz I stopped taking my otc iron supplements due to constipation (sorry if TMI) but I'm back on my regimen bcuz i want to avoid iv infusion as much as possible and in regards to my potassium i have to follow up with my PCP. Other than that all is well I'm down to 348.3 and it feels great. I'm going to try to post pics asap. Love and Light everyone and be Blessed xoxo ttys

So today was my 4 week appt happy to announce I'm  down 30lbs feeling great Thanking God that my surgery was successful. My only trouble is finding the right food to eat. Head hunger takes over more than anything but I'm focused to have a successful journey so I try not to fall back to old habits. Will post soon so far so good Be Blessed and Ill post soon xoxo

OK OH its definitely been a while the last time i posted i was scheduled to have my rny on march 20th 2012 however it didn't happen bcuz my sis who also had an rny in February had a tragic situation one month post op rny which totally scared me shitless THANK GOD she is doing OK and is doing so much better. which has lead me back to beginning my journey all over again. I feel that God does everything for a reason and maybe March 20th just wasn't meant for me so as of June 25th 2012 I will be moving over to the losers bench. I'm nervous and excited at the same time. I put all my faith in GOD and know that i will be OK. Have a blessed day OH and we Will chat soon xoxo!

Hey guys just a quick update so Ive officially completed most of  my pre-op testing everything came back normal. i was a little disappointed in my visit with the nutritionist bcuz i discovered that i gained weight since my consult with the surgeon back in September. yikes i know i was literally appalled and disappointed in myself. i have to have my PCP do my ecocardio and clearance letter then all is left to do is my blood work and pre-op class. I'm still really anxious abt everything. Praying for the best. The surgeons office gave me a date for March12, 2012 so my fingers are crossed that everything goes according to plans. I started reading reviews on protein shakes and started purchasing all my vitamins. (Sigh) Anyhow that's all for now please keep me in your prayers ask questions give advice whatever... Hope to see you guys on the losers bench soon!!!!

So this is my first official post nxt week on Jan 4th 2012 is my first appt with the nutritionist and Psych visit. Im really nervous however my surgeons office says i can schedule a date once i attend my first visit i literally have done anything blood work, endoscopy, attended any preop classes ekg etc etc im hoping to schedule my surgery for late January or mid February. at this point im at my highest weight ever (390) and its beginning to be a bit uncomfortable. Ive recently been laid off from work (im a nurse)  so being home for the pat 8 weeks along with the holidays havent been doing me any justice im pretty sure ive gained weight from my visit with my surgeon back in october. Sigh ive been feeling super overwhelmed lately and food has definitely been my comfort.Literally im just a ball of emotions. I have researched the rny for forever and know its time for a serious life style change. Im really happy to to have OH as an outlet for pre and post op patients I truly love it. Anyhow if you have any questions, advice, whatever feel free to contact me becuz im open ears. Thanks and will update soon
