I got married at the age of 16 and by 18 a mother of 2. So out the door went my 110 lb 4'10 frame hello 168lbs and climbing. I struggled and even starved. The only time I could lose weight is if i was really stressed out ( my first divorce). I have tried everything to lose weight. I even was on Phen-Fen, weight watchers (2x) grapefruit diet, Atkins, fat smasher, fat belly, and others.. During my last pregnancy I became diabetic. In between then and now I have suffered from seasonal allergies which causes asthma attacks. I had spent 1 week a year in the hospital up until last year. With all the predisone in my system I kept ballooning. I even went back on the weight lost pills but once i stopped here came the fat monster. My health is going down hill. I am 34 years old and i feel like I am in my mid fifties. I recently graduated college to show my kids no matter what you can do it. But now I have to show them how to live health. I felt lost at first being diagnosed with Metabolic Stress Syndrome, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure , and High Cholesterol. Each day became a struggle taking up to 120 units of insulin a day and 7 pills. I prayed to God and looked for the answer. I have gotten a lot of negatives about surgery. Everyone thinks its about vanity but its not. My liver is fatty and I have no energy. The good part is a I have a very supported family and best friend. I want this surgery to give me my life back.
