I had my two week appt. with the nutritionist today and I can FINALLY have food.  I took the list and went straight to the store to get everything I needed.  Anything with some texture to it I am ready for.  So I picked up some yogurt, bean soups, tomato soups, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese sticks, eggs,whole grain english muffins,beans, beans, and more beans.  I have to eat these items and probably a few that I've forgotten now for about a month and then I can move on to better things. Right now I am totally happy with this.
  I stopped at Taco Bell and got the pintos with cheese that I was told I could now have.  I was half scared to eat it thinking I might dump or something, but everything went down well and for dinner I had two ounces of cottage cheese. 
Things are starting to look up now that I can actually eat again and I'm feeling so much better about everything now.  I will just have to keep on trying.  I am going to try to do my best with this so that I have no regrets.

I'm feeling pretty good today.  I have been having those feelings thinking what in the hell have I done to myself but I am much better. 
I had my staples taken out yesterday and it feels so much better.  I now have steri strips holding everything in place.  I've been drinking as much water as I possibly can hold down and doing the protein shakes.  Its starting to become really boring and Im wanting to start on other things but I do not want to go against my surgeon, so I have about one more week before I start purees.  Hopefully everything will keep going as planned.

Tomorrow is the big day and really Im not nervous at all. Last week was a different story, I guess it was just starting to sink in.  
 Im suprised that Im not really freaking out right now but I do feel like I have lots to do before tomorrow morning.  I have to pack myself and my children because my boys will be staying with my parents while Im in the hospital. 
I have to drink the fleets soda around 1 or 2 today so Im going to go out to lunch with my mom because I cant have anything to eat after that at all.  So everyone wish me luck! I know god will look out for me.

I finally have a date and Im so excited.  I will be having surgery on August 7th.  I have to be at NEMC at 5:30 and the procedure will start at 7:30.  I feel like I have been waiting for this for so long.  I am ready to start my new life and to feel better than ever.

Well all my information just went in yesterday to the insurance company for approval.  I don't want to get my hopes up to high so Im trying to stay level headed about everything.  It seems like it has taken forever to come to this part of the process but Im waiting with anticipation.

Well I went to my psych eval today and it went better than I thought it would.  Really the doc just asked me questions about why I wanted to do this and what kind of support system I had.  I also had a questionaire I had to do on the computer but that was it.
     Im glad its over with and now I can move on to the next step which is getting all the blood work done that I need.
