I am still concerned about my skin. I will be having a skin tightening/ skinny wrap when I go to Houston.

Today I weighed and am now 250. I suppose that is something to be happy about. I got serious today though. I went to Whole Foods and got some FAGE yogurt and other vairous protien snacks. I ate chicken for breakfast and lunch and made enchaladas for dinner. I'm back on track. I think I'll set a goal of another 50 lbs off by April 15. I CAN DO IT!

I'm down approx. 50 lbs. Size 18/20. Looking foxy. Eating cookies and stuff -bad I know. BUT balancing it with my protein - so there. I FEEL good,a dn that's sucha releif-it's really all that matters to me right now. No more puking. Very few icky feelings - believe because I have learned to balance my foods. Is that what they have meant by "balanced meals" all this time !?!?! Who knew?
Anyway I put up a post of my favourite new recipe. I call it CANDY CHICKEN or HONEY THYME CHICKEN. Wanna here it? Here it go.
OMG! I made up the most delicious dish the other day. I normally do not like sweet food, but THIS CHICKEN TASTES LIKE CANDY! I can't stop eating it!! And that's a good thing, cause then I don't want junk. Here's the Rachael Ray version of what I did.
Moni's Honey Thyme Chicken
1 whole chicken
some olive oil (maybe 1/4 cup)
Worschishire sauce (about 5 tablespoons)
7 sprigs fresh thyme
premixed poultry seasoning
lemon pepper seasoning
honey
I pulled the buds off the thyme sprigs. Then, I mixed everything (except the honey) in a small bowl and rubbed it on the chicken with my fingers. I was careful to make sure I put some under the skin and poured the rest in the cavity. I let that marinade overnight.
I baked the chicken for 1 hour covered with foil at 400. This way of cooking will yield a lot of juice. I took a couple big spoonfullls of hot juice out and put in a little bowl and added about 5 tablespoons of honey. I mixed it, and added it over the top of the chicken. Cook uncovered another 15 minutes, or until skin is brown.
This chicken was so juicy and not too sweet. I suppose this is a testament to how much my taste buds have calmed down if i think chicken tastes like candy. I love it and wanted to share in hopes that you will try it and like it too. Experiment and please do not hold my bad recipe writing against me. :)

I still feel a lil woosey after eating soemtimes and can only eat very little food. But I am good. Thought I had not lost any weight over holidays. I was eating chocolate and badness. Still, I lost.
Was sick over New Years. Didn't eat for 3 days. Came back to N.O. a size 20.
I feel real cute.

Yesterday was my 1 monthaversary! I was 285, down 35lbs! My goal was 30. I feel good today. Have decided not to have the endoscopy. I don't have no stricture, I'm just going through learning my pouch. I have good days and bad ones, where I can't eat anything. Today, I'm taking it easy and just drinking water.

I have also just accepted a position back in New Orleans and will turn in my resignation today.
I have lost 30 lbs in this last month. Probably because all I can eat is mom's veggie soup. Dr. says to eat single ingrediant food. So I'll try that. I sort of hope that a stricture IS my problem, so we can fix it and I can eat more regularly. I'm tired of soup.

In addition, I don't think the lbs are coming off. I do not feel smaller, and my clothes don't fit differently. My goal was 30lbs by Nov 12, and I am going to fail. I'm depressed.

On the flip side, I am down it 303. That's 14lbs in 2 weeks. I'll take that, but I expected more. When am I going to wake up skinny?!?!?
