I have struggled with my weight since after the birth of my first child, but not right after (suprisingly).. I gave birth to my baby boy Jesse in August 2000 at 18 years old and went right back to my pre-pregnancy weight of apx. 135 and a size 8-10 jeans (not super skinny, but not plus size) ... my midwife was set on not seeing me again in 9 months and I didn't want to see her again either! It wasn't a horrible delivery but I had my baby boy, but she was not a pleasent lady to deal with! I didn't want to see her any more than she wanted to see me!! So she set me up at my 8 week check up with the Depo-Pervera birth control shot. Biggest Mistake of my Life. Almost instantly...the weight started coming on. 5..10...20...30...lbs..40...60..80lbs..within 1 YEAR!!
