My story where oh where to begin...Hum.... Well I am 53 and have been married to my best friend 27 years. We have 2 grandsons back in NY that we miss terribly 
. We have traveled some as my hubby was in the Army for 28 years. We retired in 2002 and spent winters in Florida because that was were we thought we wanted to be, but we found out that it wasn't. We moved to Cosby in Nov 2006 and are loving it.
As far as my weight goes I have been over weight for most of my adult life. I have tried MANY diets, diet pills and weight loss programs only to have the weight come back that I worked so hard to lose. I finially got tried of all that and thought there has to be something out there to help guide me that is when I started researching WLS. I have had a couple friends that has the surgery many years ago, one that had good results and one that didn't do very well. So now I am going to have the surgery and I am going to be a success story.
